Guu Izakaya - Toronto

I haven't posted for a while since I have been busy with work. Now that it is the summer, I feel like I should be catching up on my foodie blog posts. Although I have stopped blogging, I didn't stop trying out different restaurants in town. Earlier in the year, I tried out the infamous Guu Izakaya at Church St. in Toronto. It was AMAZING (albeit a little over priced). The dishes were small and great for sharing. If you go with a group of 4-6 friends, you'll be able to try a large variety of dishes from their menu.

Some of the servers there seem to know minimal English so there was a lot of pointing at the items on the menu to order. However, they have great service and the servers were extremely enthusiastic! (They all greet you when you enter into the store). The day that we went, we had to arrive early and line up outside to ensure that we were able to get a table at the restaurant (that was how popular it was).
